Jacques Tati drops his bumbling Monsieur Hulot into a gleaming modernist Paris of glass walls and confusing lobbies, and lets the jokes emerge from architecture. There is no central story, only a hundred small details happening at once across the frame. It rewards rewatching because you can never catch everything. Try it on the biggest screen you have.
