Naoto Fukasawa's objects look as if they already existed. The Muji wall-mounted CD player, the Infobar phone, the plus-minus-zero humidifier: each is so plain it feels obvious, which is the hardest thing to achieve. He calls it 'without thought' design, the kind that fits so well you forget someone chose it. It is a philosophy of trust between object and user.
